What’s included in the price?
We are a dry hire venue. Price includes the site for the marquee, use of the Barn & Walled Garden for both the drinks reception or ceremony and the use of the main house for drinks reception only.

Do you provide catering?
No, we do not. We have a list of carefully selected preferred caterers who have all visited Wickham and know us. Please find it here http://www.wickhamhouse.com/catering
Can I bring my own wine?
As a venue we do not charge a corkage fee but any arrangements to bring extra alcohol must be discussed with your chosen preferred caterer.
Accommodation on site?
Wickham does not have accommodation inside the house, but we do have a glamping village available during the summer that includes up to 29 bell tents (2 man), showers, loos and breakfast. Have a look here
Otherwise we have partnerships with The Vineyard (3 miles) and Donnington Valley Hotel (6 miles) or a variety of boutique pubs which are all within a 15 minute drive.
Live music is allowed till 0000
Recorded music is allowed till 3am
Do you allow confetti?
Only natural confetti is allowed.
Do you allow Chinese lanterns/Fireworks?
We do not allow Chinese lanterns but fireworks can be used subject to the Owner’s prior consent. Any use of fireworks must be finished by 11pm.
Can I take pictures around the ground?
Included in the venue hire is the use of the Walled Garden or the Main House for your family photographs. In the Main House you are welcome to use the Dining Room, the Library and the Staircase of the house, and obviously the House becomes essential if the weather isn’t great. The Dining Room (with its Adam ceiling and 19C oil paintings) provides the perfect setting for formal family photos. The Library with its incredible gothic alcove built (in 1865) entirely of stone, is an awesome spot for the bride to be photographed alone.
Parking on site?
We do have parking on site for 250 cars in good weather
Is there somewhere for bridal preparation?
The morning of the wedding is a special part of the day, shared with your closest family and friends. We provide a choice of two beautiful locations for the bride to change in. Our two guest rooms in the main house are stunning and offer the perfect backdrop for ‘getting ready’ photography. We invite our brides and their entourage using either of these rooms to use our large family kitchen whenever you need some friendly moral support or just a cuppa! Or if your bridal party is slightly larger, then we would recommend using the Barn.
Is there a quieter area for older guests ?
On the day, you will have full use of the Barn which can be used as an oasis where older members of your party can come at any time to relax and put their feet up.
Is 50% of the Payment Fee and will be paid once the contract is signed.
