Wickham boasts an unusually wide variety of venues. This website seeks merely to provide you with some inspiration, but we can work with you to create your vision and turn it into a reality. We provide the canvas; you create the event. Whether you are after a venue for a Christening, an informal private dinner for up to 36, a summer lunch party in a very special garden, or a 50th birthday dinner and dance for 250, we can show you some options that could tickle your fancy.

With the benefit of a beautiful church in our garden, which happily houses an old font, we are able to offer a Christening service followed by a fully-catered, seated lunch in the Barn for up to 36 people. It is difficult to imagine a more perfect venue.

Funerals, Wakes & Memorials
Wickham House is both secluded and elegant. The Barn makes for a beautiful place where you can share memories and mark the passing of your loved one with family and friends.
We can help you organise your funeral reception with compassion to help make the process that bit easier.
Depending on numbers, food can be organised through our in-house catering team or catered externally by one of our carefully selected local caterers.
Wickham House is situated just over 10 miles from West Berkshire Crematorium and (being the ex rectory) is adjacent to St. Swithun’s Church.
