Philippa Rose was one of the City’s most powerful headhunters and her company, The Rose Partnership, was reputed to hold files on more than 200,000 bankers and traders. She was, according to her own PR blurb, “quite simply the master of the dark art of headhunting”. A couple of years ago Philippa D’Arcy, as she is now, moved to non-executive chairman. She and James D’Arcy, her second husband, are moving into the corporate events business.
