The Perfect Setting for a Marquee
This picturesque piece of land, the ideal setting for many Berkshire weddings, is flanked by a grand avenue of mature oak trees, and contains four 250 year old Cedars of Lebanon. To the south it slopes gently away allowing for a beautiful view of the downs. To the north one looks towards the main façade of the house. With this sensational back-drop, there is plenty of room to create your own story for your perfect day.
There are two obvious locations for a large marquee or frame tent, one along the front edge of the field, looking directly at the house, the other following the line of the oak tree avenue facing the countryside. The map on this page shows the marquee site quite clearly as well as the designated 250 car parking plot 100m away. Golf buggies can be laid on for those less mobile or in the event of inclement weather.
