On the weekend of the 30th September, Wickham House and The Vineyard were delighted to host the best individuals from the events industry. Individuals from AOK Events, The Grass Roots Group, Powwow Events, Quintessentially, Reed & Mackay, Group Se7en Events and Zibrant attended.
The guests arrived the Friday evening at The Vineyard for wine tasting and a delicious tasting menu for dinner which included River Kennet crayfish raviolo with watercress, confit egg yolk & Wiltshire truffle, Tenderloin and belly of pork and Espresso granita, blackcurrant cream, coffee sponge for dessert. The wines were carefully selected, and both surprised and impressed the guests due to their quality and variety.

The following morning the guests arrived at Wickham House for a wonderful breakfast before hearing about the activity which had previously been a surprise. The individuals were placed into teams and took part in a corporate treasure hunt around the grounds run by ACF Team Building. It was a huge success and wonderful fun, and even included diffusing a ‘bomb’ and hilarious improvised 2 minute theatre sketches. After, Coates & Seely provided a champagne tasting which was accompanied by delightful canapes and slow cooked pork and roasted sea trout bowl food provided by Spook Catering.
The weekend was enjoyed by all and gave everyone the opportunity to see the best that Berkshire has to offer.
